Account Director – Client Growth & Strategy Lead

About the role

The Account Director is the senior commercial and strategic owner of client relationships at YAZ Media. You will drive client growth, revenue expansion, and long‑term partnership value while ensuring work is scoped, priced, and delivered profitably across all agency departments.

Key responsibilities

• Own senior client relationships, acting as the main point of accountability and building trusted, long‑term partnerships.
• Lead strategic conversations beyond day‑to‑day execution to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across Social, Production, Web, and PR services and drive revenue growth.
• Manage commercial discussions, proposals, and scope expansions, ensuring solutions are commercially viable.
• Own scoping, pricing, and commercial structure of engagements, protecting the agency from scope creep and underpricing.
• Translate client business objectives into clear strategic directions for internal teams and support annual/quarterly account planning.
• Coordinate cross‑department efforts, ensuring briefs are realistic and aligned with delivery capabilities.
• Maintain high‑level oversight of delivery quality and timelines, intervening only when necessary.
