Customer Service Engineer – Diagnostic Imaging (Egypt)

About the role

The Customer Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining UIH diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites across Egypt. The role combines field service, technical support and on‑site training to ensure optimal performance of imaging modalities such as digital radiography, CT, MRI and PET.

Key responsibilities

• Install UIH diagnostic imaging systems within the assigned product range at customer locations.
• Collaborate with the regional Customer Care Center to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and software updates under supervision.
• Participate in service training courses and obtain the UIH Professional Certificate to enhance technical competence.
• Escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Replace faulty spare parts and provide on‑site training to end users.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Technical associate degree or higher.
• Familiarity with the principles and structure of diagnostic imaging equipment (DR, CT, MR, PET).
• Strong problem‑solving ability to locate and resolve faults in the field.
• Excellent communication, customer‑oriented attitude and teamwork spirit.
• Flexibility to travel, work unsociable hours and adapt to changing schedules.
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with diagnostic imaging equipment (DR, CT, MR, PET).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure and IT concepts.
