DevOps Supervisor

About the role

The DevOps Supervisor leads the DevOps function across multiple teams, ensuring that processes, platforms, and tools align with organizational goals and deliver high‑availability, scalable systems. This role provides technical oversight, drives continuous improvement, and serves as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Guide DevOps Leads and Engineers to ensure consistent execution of DevOps practices.
• Validate and enforce DevOps standards, roadmaps, and deliverables.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline execution, deployments, and infrastructure operations for reliability.
• Maintain system availability, performance, and stability in production and non‑production environments.
• Manage DevOps infrastructure, including servers, storage, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Lead system migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements with minimal disruption.
• Drive automation initiatives and approve automation strategies for build, release, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to resolve cross‑team dependencies.
• Supervise monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root‑cause analysis processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure solutions meet DevOps standards and provide status updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising or leading DevOps teams.
