Facilities Supervisor – Maintenance Engineering

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor – Maintenance Engineering will lead a team of technicians, design solutions for complex equipment issues, manage external contractors, and ensure the reliability of all operational equipment and facility infrastructure within Amazon distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Maintenance Technicians, driving performance and development.
• Develop, implement and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters and mechanical components such as rolls, bearings and belts.
• Act as a safety ambassador, promoting safe work practices across the site.
• Prioritize resources and manage multiple projects under high‑pressure conditions.
• Maintain strong working relationships across all organizational levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Instrumentation & Controls.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and performance‑management abilities.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and develop team capabilities.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, PHP) or with Redshift and full‑stack application management.
