About the role
The Indirect Tax Lead will be responsible for managing the company's worldwide indirect tax compliance, ensuring accurate filing of tax returns and minimizing tax liabilities while adhering to all relevant regulations. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external tax authorities to support audits and implement tax strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file indirect tax returns for all applicable legal entities.
- Handle tax audits and act as the primary liaison with tax authorities.
- Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Perform account reconciliations related to indirect tax.
- Identify tax risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex tax concepts in clear terms.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
Required skills
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
