Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Internal Audit Supervisor will lead risk‑based audit assignments in line with the approved annual audit plan. This hands‑on role evaluates internal controls, identifies process weaknesses, and ensures corrective actions are implemented across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive internal audit fieldwork according to the risk‑based plan and professional standards.
• Review business processes, policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks to assess control design and effectiveness.
• Identify systemic control breakdowns, operational inefficiencies, governance gaps and emerging risks.
• Develop high‑quality audit working papers supported by clear, objective evidence.
• Prepare concise audit observations, root‑cause analyses and actionable recommendations for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Lead discussions with process owners to validate findings and monitor implementation of management action plans.
• Support ad‑hoc investigations, special operational reviews and fraud‑related inquiries.
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, diagnostic tools and standard checklists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, CISA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• 5–7 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in internal audit, internal controls, corporate governance, risk management or compliance.
