Senior BIM Architecture Engineer

About the role

The Senior BIM Architecture Engineer will lead the creation, coordination, and maintenance of architectural Building Information Models throughout all project phases. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will work closely with technical and BIM teams to deliver accurate, information‑rich models that meet design intent and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain architectural BIM models in line with project requirements, BIM standards and approved workflows.
• Produce coordinated model‑based deliverables such as drawings, schedules, details and documentation with high technical accuracy.
• Manage model geometry, data levels and information detail to support design development, multidisciplinary coordination, construction and handover.
• Maintain model health, file integrity, naming conventions, view templates and content standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct model federation, clash detection and coordination with structural, MEP and specialist disciplines, tracking and supporting issue resolution.
• Provide technical BIM input to resolve coordination challenges while preserving design intent and buildability.
• Review models and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance with specifications and approved criteria.
• Extract quantities, schedules and model data to support design reviews, reporting and downstream construction deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, architectural workflows and standards such as ISO 19650, LOD/LOI, IFC and COBie.
• Proven experience in architectural BIM modelling, coordination, drawing production and clash detection.
• Ability to work safely, adhere to HSE and quality policies and report any violations.
