Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

QuadraTech is looking for a proactive Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructures. The role focuses on protecting systems and data from cyber threats while ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud network architectures.
• Configure and manage firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and IDS/IPS appliances.
• Monitor network traffic, detect suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation.
• Develop, enforce, and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system integrations.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and security controls.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR.
• Provide technical support during forensic investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
