About the role
MetLife is seeking a Unit Manager to lead daily operations of its Cairo office. This full‑time hybrid position combines strategic planning with hands‑on team leadership to ensure the unit meets performance and compliance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operational activities and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Monitor team performance, set KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and optimise workflows, quality‑control processes, and performance‑optimization techniques.
- Ensure compliance with MetLife policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management.
- Foster a collaborative and high‑engagement work environment.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in insurance, financial services, or a related sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
