Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team and support the full spectrum of financial closing, reporting, and compliance activities. The role will involve close collaboration with tax advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
• Coordinate with tax advisors to meet filing requirements.
• Review intercompany transactions and perform related reconciliations.
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of internal controls.
• Provide budgeting and reporting support as needed.
• Participate in finance‑wide process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 6–9 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in oil & gas, EPC, contracting or multi‑entity environments is preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial controls and audit requirements.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Familiarity with tax regulations and coordination with external auditors.
