Accounting Manager – KSA & Oman Subsidiaries

About the role

Paymob is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial control activities for its subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and Oman. You will ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for KSA and Oman subsidiaries, including month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax rules, VAT, ZATCA requirements, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations and VAT in KSA/Oman.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
