Accounting Manager – Manufacturing (7‑10 yrs experience)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance function within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accruals and GRIR clearing.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across systems, reports and sub‑ledgers.
• Drive month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing using advanced SAP closing tools.
• Manage monthly fixed‑asset accounting and review journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and accounting estimates.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Support tax inspections and external audits as the primary finance contact.
• Oversee localized tax compliance (VAT, Stamp Tax, WHT, Corporate Income Tax) and coordinate with supply‑chain teams on customs duties and transfer‑pricing.
• Provide clear accounting guidance across functions and supervise the accounting team.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting within a manufacturing company.
• Strong operational knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Very good command of English.
• Residence in Fayoum, Giza or October.
