Assistant Vice President – IBG Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – IBG Compliance supports the Senior Manager Compliance in overseeing the Institutional Banking Group (IBG) compliance function across Egypt and overseas branches. This role ensures adherence to AML/KYC policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures while providing compliant solutions to business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Manager in day‑to‑day operations of the IBG compliance unit, ensuring alignment with the bank’s AML/KYC policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide compliant solutions to regulatory requirements and intervene to halt transactions or proposals that pose compliance risks.
• Proactively escalate critical compliance or business issues to prevent investigations, fines, or reputational damage.
• Support the implementation of compliance initiatives for IBG as directed by Head‑Office Compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in compliance, AML, or KYC functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address compliance risks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and business units.
