Associate Director - Hospitality

About the role

JLL is hiring an Associate Director for its hospitality practice in Cairo, reporting to the Project Director, Service Line Lead or Head of Department. The role oversees, coordinates and manages the progress of a single project, several projects or a package of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development of the client brief and Project Execution Plans to fit each project's needs.
• Deliver full design management and lead design teams in developing design solutions that meet client expectations and budget.
• Oversee and advise on the local government approval process.
• Administer complex building contracts, ensuring contractors and consultants comply with contract terms.
• Manage tender documents, review tender returns, handle contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting.
• Ensure project documentation, programmes and master budgets are followed by the team, and deliver client and internal reports.
• Deliver projects within the agreed risk, sustainability and environmental framework while keeping focus on time, cost and quality.
• Manage and report on contractor progress against the contract programme, and manage external consultants and internal design managers so that the built product complies with the contract.
• Support team members across disciplines and the wider division.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of academic and related industry experience (engineering, architecture or construction) combined with experience in hospitality projects.
• PMP is a plus.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Good report writing and communication skills.
