Associate Engineer - IT Operations

About the role

Talabat is seeking an Associate Engineer for IT Operations to ensure reliable IT services across its stores, warehouses and other locations. You will provide second‑line (L2) support, configure network devices and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep the infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L2 technical support for hardware, software and network incidents across multiple sites.
• Manage incidents and service requests in Jira, following ITIL processes and SLA commitments.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Support Active Directory, email accounts and cloud services.
• Monitor internet connectivity, VPN performance and overall network health.
• Lead full IT infrastructure setup for new sites, including CCTV cameras, POS systems and other hardware.
• Provide on‑site assistance to L3 engineers during office and warehouse deployments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in L2 IT support and incident management.
• Familiarity with Jira ticketing, Slack communication and ITIL best practices.
• Hands‑on experience configuring network devices and managing Active Directory.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and coordinate with L1/L2/L3 teams.
