Civil Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Construction Manager to lead and control civil construction execution across one or multiple project sites. The role ensures safe, efficient delivery of civil works in line with approved drawings, specifications, HSE requirements, quality standards, schedule and contractual obligations, particularly on brownfield industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce internal approvals, site governance and HSE standards for all civil activities.
• Own civil construction execution risk and manage subcontractor performance.
• Lead civil site teams, field engineers and supervisors to deliver on schedule.
• Maintain strong interface control with other project disciplines and ensure clear civil scope ownership.
• Validate look‑ahead plans, confirm drawing releases and guarantee readiness of materials, manpower and permits before work starts.
• Apply permit‑to‑work discipline, stop/resume authority and escalation thresholds for high‑risk activities.
• Monitor progress with measurable, evidence‑backed data and trigger recovery actions when delays arise.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading civil construction on brownfield industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, permit‑to‑work systems and safety governance.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, field engineers and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent coordination skills across project interfaces.
