Commercial Manager – E‑Commerce

About the role

The Commercial Manager – E‑Commerce will lead the performance of assigned product categories on Majid Al Futtaim’s online platforms. You will optimise assortment, pricing, availability and content to drive sales, profitability and an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that maximise top‑line sales and bottom‑line profitability.
• Plan assortment, set pricing and manage promotional calendars for Fresh and FMCG categories.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, sourcing and last‑mile teams to ensure seamless product availability.
• Analyse performance data, identify growth opportunities and track key KPIs such as stock availability and campaign effectiveness.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and supplier agreements, and monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain and optimise digital catalogue, online merchandising and promotional content.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in e‑commerce, category management, retail or FMCG.
• Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving profitability.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting KPIs and market trends.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with supply‑chain, sourcing and operations teams.
• Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems and digital dashboards.
