Costing Professional

About the role

EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a diligent and skilled Costing Professional to join its finance team. The role provides accurate costing data and financial analysis to support strategic decisions and operational efficiency, acting as the main Finance Business Partner for the R&D function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and standardize costing models for formulation development, analytical development, stability studies, clinical trials and bioequivalence studies.
• Support project evaluation through cost-to-deliver analysis, profitability assessments and financial scenario modeling for new product development.
• Own the financial creation, validation and costing of Bills of Material (BOMs) for pilot, scale-up and production batches, aligned with Oracle ERP requirements.
• Coordinate with Costing, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to validate material, conversion and overhead costs and keep costing consistent across sites.
• Review and validate the financial side of CRO quotations, contracts, amendments and invoices.
• Ensure accurate recording of R&D inventory, material movements and intercompany transactions, and act as the finance focal point for R&D Oracle transactions.
• Identify financial and operational risks in R&D projects and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Professional certification (CMA, FMVA) is an advantage.
• 5-9 years of experience in Finance, Costing or Business Partnering roles; pharmaceutical or R&D-intensive experience preferred.
• Strong exposure to project-based costing and multi-legal-entity organizations.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is mandatory.
