About the role

The Customer Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience at the reception desk. This role blends front‑desk administration with patient support, handling registration, payments, and coordination with clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors, manage check‑in and check‑out processes.
  • Collect demographic, insurance, and pre‑registration information.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries via email.
  • Collect co‑payments, process daily cash receipts, and ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Maintain confidential patient records and update files promptly.
  • Verify patient information, process approvals, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Promote additional services through upselling and cross‑selling based on patient needs.
  • Record and enter patient data with zero errors and adhere to SOPs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
  • Handle customer complaints, billing questions, and feedback collection.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
  • 0‑2 years of experience in a medical center, customer service, or related healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of patient registration, appointment scheduling, and health insurance is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
