Development Manager – Egypt

About the role

Accor is seeking a Development Manager to lead the expansion of its managed and franchised hotel portfolio across the MEA region, with a primary focus on Egypt. You will drive new hotel projects, transformations, and branded residence initiatives, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and finalize development projects for all Accor brands, covering new builds, conversions, and mixed-use projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, investors, and partners to understand their objectives and branding needs.
• Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modelling to evaluate new opportunities.
• Support regional development teams throughout the deal‑making process, from pitch creation to contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to reflect operational constraints in agreements and develop compelling sales arguments.
• Represent Accor at local and international seminars, exhibitions, and events.
• Validate monthly reports for global roll‑up and generate leads for Premium, Mid‑scale, and Economy segments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality development.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement abilities and experience in market analysis and feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, accounting, financial modelling, residential development, and branded residences.
• Ability to interpret legal documents; brand management experience is a plus.
