Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Huhtamaki is a global provider of sustainable packaging solutions looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support its production facilities in Egypt. The role involves independent and supervised work on mechanical repair, maintenance, installation and transportation tasks, applying both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare work programmes in line with maintenance plans and execute them.
• Analyse malfunctions, produce reports and carry out necessary disassembly and assembly.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor construction offices and workshops to ensure correct design, measurement, material selection and part manufacturing.
• Manage a subordinate technical team and ensure workplace cleanliness and order.

Required profile

• Basic mechanical and strength knowledge.
• Understanding of material norms, specifications and professional mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with design and measurement techniques.
