Finance Operations Lead

About the role

The Finance Operations Lead will serve as the primary strategic owner of Record‑to‑Report (R2R) accounting activities, overseeing period‑close processes, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role ensures timely completion of Blackline task lists, drives process improvements, and acts as the main liaison between business units, audit teams, and the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review R2R accounting work, including period‑close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage the Blackline task list to ensure timely completion of reconciliations.
• Develop, document, and deploy standard R2R accounting procedures across business units.
• Provide functional advice, training, and serve as the point of contact for accounting queries from BUs and auditors.
• Drive continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with Process and Control Standards (PACS).
• Support internal and external audit engagements, maintaining seamless audit processes.
• Coordinate with corporate controllership on new reporting requirements and system enhancements.
• Organize team activities, monitor service level agreements, and report metrics to senior management.
• Lead special projects, digital transformation initiatives, and deliver financial insights to business units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) accounting and period‑close activities.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliation, journal entry processing, and financial analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business units, audit teams, and senior finance leaders.
• Experience managing process improvements and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
