Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance management. The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, strengthen internal controls and provide strategic insights to senior leadership while managing a team of seven finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal financial policies.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial governance and risk‑management practices.
• Monitor financial performance and deliver strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop a finance team of seven, fostering high performance.
• Partner with senior management on business planning, investment decisions and financial strategy.
• Drive process improvements and leverage financial data to enhance decision‑making and reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting or controlling roles.
• Previous experience in the real‑estate industry is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced financial reporting tools; Power BI preferred.
