First Mile Operations Area Manager

About the role

Amazon is looking for a First Mile Operations Area Manager to lead a core team within its Delivery Stations in Egypt. You will own the end‑to‑end flow of seller pickups, returns and shipments, ensuring the customer promise is met while driving safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of supervisors and associates across multiple locations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce Amazon Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as DEA, FDPS and C‑Ret.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and high process quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements and lean techniques.
• Collaborate with WHS, finance, account managers and external fulfillment partners.
• Contribute to First Mile strategy, network expansion and best‑practice sharing across markets.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2 + years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance metrics.
