Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate language development through play, songs and activities.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, social interaction and a love for learning.
• Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
• Integrate French language learning with other subjects, promoting a holistic approach to education.
• Build strong relationships with students and their families, encouraging communication and collaboration.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised classroom that promotes creativity and exploration.
• Take part in professional development to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, French Language or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching preschool-aged children, preferably in a bilingual setting.
• Fluency in French and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with young learners and their families.
• Creative and patient approach to teaching, with a passion for fostering children's development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
