Hardware Electronics Lab Technician – Automotive Software

About the role

Avelabs, an Arrow Company specializing in automotive software engineering services, is looking for a meticulous Hardware Electronics Lab Technician to support prototyping, testing, and validation activities in its Cairo laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and debug electronic circuits and hardware prototypes.
• Perform SMT and through‑hole soldering and PCB rework.
• Set up and operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Support board bring‑up, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain lab tools, equipment, and inventory in an ESD‑safe environment.
• Document test procedures, results, and observations.
• Assist in preparing hardware for validation, certification, and demonstrations.
• Participate in failure analysis and root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in an electronics laboratory (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework.
• Familiarity with electronic components, schematics and datasheets.
• Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits.
