In-House Doctor & Medical Officer (Full-Time, Shift-Based)

About the role

We are seeking an in‑house doctor to join our medical team, reporting to the Medical Director. The role involves reviewing medical cases, ensuring treatment plans are justified, and supporting operational teams with claims and patient case management.

Key responsibilities

• Assess day‑care and inpatient medical reports to verify that treatment plans are medically justified and follow best practices.
• Escalate questionable or unclear cases to the Medical Director for validation.
• Assist coordinators and supervisors in evaluating cases and rejecting unjustified procedures or treatments.
• Monitor medical expenses against cost benchmarks and identify potential fraud or over‑utilisation.
• Conduct discussions with healthcare providers, document findings, and prepare medical reports as needed.
• Provide 24/7 medical support and guidance to coordinators on inpatient cases and claims.
• Assist management with medical‑related client inquiries and participate in client meetings when required.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MBBS or MD) with at least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Hospital experience is mandatory; insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Full working knowledge of MS Office.
