Ingeniero Residente – Proyecto de Infraestructura

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a six‑month infrastructure project starting in September. The role is based in Tortuguero and involves on‑site supervision, quality control, and coordination with the client.

Key responsibilities

• Control the quality of the project and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections with the client and verify that all work meets contractual requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor the project schedule and critical path to keep the work on track.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in infrastructure projects and field work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Resident Engineer.
• CFIA license (carnet del CFIA) and willingness to relocate and stay in the area.
• Own vehicle or reliable means of transportation.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract for six months, starting in September.
• Salary range of CRC 1,000,000 – CRC 1,200,000 per month.
• Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
