Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit team by assessing financial, operational and compliance processes, ensuring accurate records, identifying risks and recommending improvements to internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse financial and operational data to detect errors, risks or control weaknesses.
• Review records, documents and transactions for compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Participate in audit fieldwork, including walkthroughs, testing and documentation.
• Assist in evaluating internal controls and propose enhancements.
• Prepare audit working papers and help draft audit findings.
• Support the preparation of audit reports and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Conduct interviews with employees to gather audit evidence.
• Monitor compliance with financial, operational and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with finance, business units and senior management during audit assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in audit.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and high integrity.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics / Axapta.
