Inventory & Asset Controller – Finance

About the role

Sky Restaurants is seeking a meticulous Inventory & Asset Controller to join its finance team. The role oversees the full control cycle of goods, raw materials, operating supplies, and fixed assets across central warehouses and restaurant locations, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and enforce control procedures throughout the supply chain lifecycle, from receiving to consumption.
• Conduct regular and surprise physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and fixed‑asset audits, reconciling discrepancies against ERP/POS records.
• Oversee daily goods transfers between central warehouse and restaurant sites, verifying documentation and preventing loss.
• Maintain a comprehensive fixed‑asset register, tracking acquisitions, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Track food cost variances, spoilage, and waste, producing root‑cause reports with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure all inventory transactions, BOMs, recipes, and stock adjustments are accurately logged in the ERP system.
• Cross‑check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and quality standards before acceptance.
• Implement internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory valuation, aging stock, variance, and asset audit reports for finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 6–11 years of experience in inventory control, cost accounting or asset management, preferably in hospitality or food‑service.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or specialized F&B systems (e.g., Material Control “MC”).
• Experience with restaurant POS/inventory management software.
