Junior / Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

The Junior / Senior Systems Engineer will support the development, modeling, calibration and validation of sensor systems and spectral sensing products at Si‑Ware Systems. Working on‑site in Cairo, you will translate product requirements into system specifications and ensure performance throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, design, model and simulate sensor systems and spectral sensing products.
• Define and allocate system requirements to meet target performance.
• Participate in architecture studies, performance analysis and trade‑off evaluations.
• Create validation methodologies, test procedures and performance assessments.
• Develop calibration approaches, algorithms and associated test setups.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, testing, characterization and data collection.
• Support failure analysis, root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with MEMS, optics, electronics, software, mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Analyze yield and drive continuous improvement for manufacturability and reliability.
• Prepare technical reports, validation documentation and communicate findings to project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years experience for junior level or 2–5 years for senior level in systems engineering, sensor technologies, spectroscopy, optics or electronics.
• Strong understanding of electronic and optical principles.
