L2 Desktop Support Engineer (Cairo, Egypt)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Level‑2 Desktop Support Engineer to join our Cairo team. You will provide first‑line IT assistance to internal users, ensuring their desktop environment runs smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and software, including Windows OS and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot user issues through a help‑desk ticketing system.
• Manage user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory.
• Provide support for mobile devices running iOS or Android.
• Maintain endpoint security by deploying anti‑virus and encryption tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred.
• Proven experience with Windows, Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
