Learning Specialist – Transportation L&D

About the role

Amazon Operations is expanding its Learning team and is looking for a Transportation Learning Specialist. In this role you will partner with Operations Managers, Area Managers and Associates to continuously improve the long‑term capabilities of the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate training programs for up to 50 participants per session.
• Track performance metrics such as learning curves, safety, quality and productivity, and launch improvement initiatives.
• Monitor adherence to training standards and implement new tactical and strategic projects.
• Create and maintain training documentation using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Photoshop and video‑editing software.
• Execute gap‑closing plans for individual and group development needs.
• Partner with program managers and leadership to update materials, drive process changes and ensure site adoption.
• Build internal dashboards and report training progress and KPIs in daily and weekly leadership calls.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups and one‑on‑one.
• Strong ability to give and receive feedback, meet deadlines and stay goal‑oriented.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with a positive, “can‑do” attitude.
• Experience measuring associate performance around safety, quality and productivity.
• Bachelor’s degree and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
