Logistics Lead

About the role

The Logistics Lead will drive the end‑to‑end logistics function, ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods across all hubs while fostering a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Logistics Officers, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
• Oversee planning and execution of the complete logistics cycle, from shipment booking to final delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise international shipments, selecting the most suitable mode (air, ocean, land) based on cost, time and risk.
• Ensure compliance with local and international transportation laws, customs regulations and hazardous cargo requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments (operations, finance, sales, supply chain) and external suppliers to resolve constraints and service failures.
• Analyse logistics data to identify trends, drive process improvements and achieve cost savings.
• Champion the adoption of digital tools and analytics to enhance logistics visibility and decision‑making.
• Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, KPIs and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end logistics processes and international shipping modes.
• Familiarity with customs regulations, hazardous cargo handling and transportation compliance.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple internal functions and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive cost‑saving initiatives.
