Marine Engineer

About the role

Dolphin marine company is seeking a qualified Marine Engineer to join its team in Port Said. The role focuses on ensuring the safety and operational readiness of marine vessels through rigorous inspections, maintenance, and certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain safety and rescue equipment on boats.
• Issue and approve safety certificates for vessels.
• Conduct cylinder body tests and supervise cylinder filling operations.
• Calibrate fire‑extinguishing system devices.
• Perform annual load testing of metal stairs, ropes, and cranes.
• Execute pressure tests on fire hoses, charging and discharge hoses, and elevators.
• Coordinate inspection activities with maritime authorities and agencies.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in marine engineering.
• Proficient reading and speaking English.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and stress‑management abilities.
• Quick learner with a cooperative attitude.
