Marketing & Public Relations Specialist

About the role

Newb Agency is looking for a proactive Marketing & Public Relations Specialist to shape brand communications for its beauty and cosmetics clients across the MENA region. You will act as the liaison between the agency, media outlets, influencers, and the public, crafting compelling narratives that elevate brand equity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies and media outreach plans for multiple beauty brands.
• Build and maintain relationships with regional media contacts, beauty editors, and content creators.
• Craft press releases, story pitches, and brand narratives that resonate with target audiences.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze results using industry tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or communications, preferably within beauty, fashion, or luxury.
• Proven track record of successful media placements and campaign execution in Egypt or the broader MENA market.
• Existing network of regional media and influencer contacts.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Deep understanding of influencer culture, social media dynamics, and the K‑beauty/international cosmetics landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.

Required skills

• Experience with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater, Mention, or Prowly.
