Mechanical Construction Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Construction Engineer to lead and coordinate the end‑to‑end execution of mechanical construction and installation activities for industrial projects in our cement production expansion portfolio. The role ensures safe, on‑schedule delivery while meeting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce HSE legislation, company policies, and conduct detailed risk assessments and safe work instructions.
• Supervise mechanical erection, installation, and commissioning of equipment such as kilns, mills, conveyors, crushers, fans, pumps, and piping systems.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower allocation, and progress against the project schedule.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct inspections, quality checks, and verify contractors' work progress, measurements, and payment bills.
• Support testing and commissioning activities and prepare daily/weekly execution reports.
• Authorize material requests and ensure compliance with HSE competencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience supervising mechanical erection and commissioning on industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ability to develop risk assessments and safe work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical documents.
