Medical Personal Assistant

About the role

The Medical Personal Assistant supports the consultant by acting as the primary liaison between patients, the hospital, and the medical team. This full‑time, onsite position ensures smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and accurate administrative handling of patient records and appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails professionally, responding to patient queries promptly.
• Manage the consultant’s diary, arrange and adjust appointments, surgeries, and scans.
• Enter new patient information and update records in the Compucare Practice Management System.
• Coordinate referrals, authorisation codes, and embassy logs as needed.
• Handle invoicing for surgeries and services, settle payments with self‑pay patients, and maintain invoice logs.
• Forward patient inquiries to the consultant and follow up on treatment plans without delays.
• Send Trustpilot review invitations and ensure compliance with workplace policies.

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous experience as a personal or administrative assistant preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced medical environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Compucare Practice Management System.
