Mid-level Frontend Developer (AEM/CMS) – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a mid-level Frontend Developer to join Octopus for a six-month fixed-term project. The role focuses on building modern, responsive, and accessible web interfaces and integrating them with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high-performance UI using HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Create reusable, component-based UI elements following design system guidelines.
• Implement interactive experiences with React (preferred) and optionally Next.js or Vue.js.
• Integrate frontend components into AEM, handling HTL/Sightly, clientlibs, editable templates, content fragments, experience fragments and component dialogs.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive pages, supporting RTL and multilingual layouts.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA, designers and content authors in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React; familiarity with Next.js or Vue.js is a plus.
• Experience integrating UI components within AEM or similar CMS (Sitecore, Contentful, Storyblok, WordPress).
• Ability to convert Figma (or similar) designs into responsive code.
• Comfort working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
