Mobile Equipment Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Reliability Engineer to lead reliability‑centered maintenance initiatives for our fleet of heavy mobile equipment. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure high equipment availability, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance programs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on failure data.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and maintenance cost efficiency.
• Oversee CMMS implementation, data accuracy, and reporting.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers and supervisors.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and HSE teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, preferably with heavy/mobile equipment.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CRL or CMRP are an advantage.
