Non-Food Category Purchasing Executive

About the role

We are hiring for a sister company, Khazyn, operating in the e‑commerce grocery sector and based in Maadi. The role focuses on purchasing non‑food product categories to support the company’s online retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supplier Management – identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment and delivery terms, and monitor performance.
• Procurement Operations – source and purchase non‑food items such as electronics, household goods and office supplies, manage the full purchasing cycle and ensure timely inventory replenishment.
• Cost Management – conduct market research, analyse pricing trends and develop cost‑saving strategies to improve profitability.
• Quality Assurance – work with the quality control team to ensure purchased products meet standards and handle non‑conformance issues.
• Collaboration and Reporting – coordinate with logistics, sales and finance teams and prepare procurement reports including cost analysis and inventory status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in non‑food categories for an e‑commerce or wholesale environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with the ERP system Odoo is a plus.
