Operation & Boarding Officer (Port Said)

About the role

IBRAMAR Shipping Group is looking for an Operation & Boarding Officer to join its team at the Port Said Port Police Department. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on ensuring smooth vessel operations, coordinating entry and exit formalities, and supervising cargo handling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor email communications around the clock and draft timely responses under senior guidance.
• Prepare all required documentation for vessel operations in line with official regulations.
• Manage vessel calls to guarantee efficient and planned operations.
• Oversee cargo handling, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational standards.
• Coordinate arrivals and departures to support seamless port and canal activities.
• Perform additional tasks that enhance operational efficiency and workflow continuity.
• Occasionally support operations in other Egyptian ports such as Damietta, Arish, and Suez when needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedural guidelines.
• Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple vessel calls simultaneously.
• Effective communication with port authorities, clients, and crew.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to other ports on short notice.
