Partnership Programs Manager

About the role

The Partnership Programs Manager leads Coptic Orphans’ end‑to‑end partnership and grantmaking cycle in Egypt. Reporting to the International Programs Director, the role combines strategic partner identification, RfP design, proposal review, award management and results oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Map, identify and cultivate relationships with NGOs, CBOs and development actors in Egypt, focusing on education, health, nutrition, child protection and girl empowerment.
• Design and operationalize grantmaking systems, including eligibility criteria, scoring rubrics, partner assessments and management databases.
• Develop and issue Requests for Proposals, evaluate proposals using M&E frameworks, conduct due‑diligence field visits and set grant terms, milestones and reporting schedules.
• Manage partnership agreements, monitor compliance, conduct quality‑assurance reviews of progress reports and perform site visits to verify results.
• Aggregate quantitative and qualitative data across the grant portfolio to produce dashboards, learning briefs and annual impact reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, social sciences, public policy, nonprofit management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in development programming, with at least 3 years in grantmaking or partnership management.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time across Egypt.
