Payable Supervisor – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Payable Supervisor ensures accurate handling of cash, petty cash, and bank transactions for the property. You will maintain financial records, support period‑end closing, and act as the liaison with banking and armored‑car services.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain all cash‑related files, records and equivalents in line with SOPs.
• Record, store and analyse financial information using journals, ledgers and computer systems.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and prepare related reports.
• Audit cashier banks periodically according to SOPs.
• Maintain, distribute and record petty cash, cashier banks and contracts.
• Document, communicate and act on cash variances per SOPs.
• Serve as liaison between the property and armored‑car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal, external and regulatory audit processes.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in cash handling, banking or accounts payable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and commitment to company policies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
