Planning and Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Planning and Logistics Manager to lead the Asset Information, Planning and Logistics function for the high‑speed railway project in Egypt. Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Officer, you will ensure maintenance schedules, resource planning and logistics are fully aligned with ISO 55000:2024 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Asset Information Management framework and document control in line with ISO 55000:2024.
• Validate the asset register and hand‑over data within the CMMS, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Develop annual and three‑year preventive‑maintenance forecasts to support budgeting and resource allocation.
• Monitor scheduling performance, oversee statutory inspections and approve all preventive‑maintenance plans before deployment.
• Approve spare‑parts strategy, first‑fill inventory programming and coordinate site logistics, including approved vendor lists.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to align sourcing, supplier qualification and procurement activities with uninterrupted maintenance operations.
• Oversee third‑party contractor activities, review access plans and manage deviation reports.
• Track inventory and contractor KPIs, driving corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain CMMS operation, data accuracy, user‑access governance and deliver training to maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in maintenance planning, asset information management or facilities management.
• At least 5 years in a senior planning or logistics role on a major infrastructure or transport project.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex logistics.
