Process Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Process Design Engineer to join our water‑treatment team and support the design and delivery of reverse‑osmosis (RO) desalination projects. The role offers hands‑on experience in creating detailed process packages and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design process flows and select equipment for RO desalination plants.
• Perform hydraulic, mechanical and chemical calculations and compile detailed design packages.
• Prepare layouts, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Develop the control philosophy and generate the Bill of Materials for procurement.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, automation and architecture disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Analyse process issues, propose corrective design modifications and follow up on equipment repairs.
• Assist in preparing technical and financial proposals during the tendering phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a “very good” overall grade.
• 0‑1 years of experience or academic exposure to water‑treatment processes.
• Strong command of English and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
