Production Engineer – Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

HC WOOD is seeking a full‑time Production Engineer to join its furniture manufacturing plant in 6th of October City. The role is on‑site and focuses on driving efficiency, quality and continuous improvement across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily furniture production processes and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Develop and optimise production plans to maximise throughput and minimise waste.
• Monitor product quality and enforce quality‑control standards.
• Analyse workflow data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, maintenance and logistics teams to coordinate activities.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects and document process changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in furniture production or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex production challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site setting.
