Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure that all projects and operations meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role implements QA processes, conducts audits and inspections, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Document, control and communicate all processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Contribute to IMS certification, surveillance and recertification audits.
• Develop and implement QA plans, quality control procedures and monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and benchmarks.
• Plan and conduct internal audits (ISO 19011) and participate in external audits, client inspections and regulatory assessments.
• Identify non‑conformities, manage NCRs, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead root‑cause analysis using structured methodologies (5‑Why, Fishbone, ICAM).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) and maintain quality dashboards and performance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement and project teams to embed quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience, preferably in utilities, oil & gas or construction.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Certified Internal Auditor (ISO) or proven internal auditing experience.
• Professional certifications such as CQE or CQA are a plus.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
