Readymix Specification Engineer

About the role

Lafarge Egypt is seeking a Readymix Specification Engineer to work closely with project design teams and technical stakeholders. The role focuses on promoting and specifying Lafarge’s Value‑Added Products (VAP) portfolio, driving market share growth, and supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead prescriptive selling of the VAP portfolio to developers, consultants, architects, and governmental authorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with design communities and technical stakeholders to increase product adoption.
• Generate leads in coordination with the VAP team and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare product presentations, technical data sheets, and detailed value‑engineering comparisons.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and recommend strategic responses.
• Support new product development through testing, validation, and coordination with Quality and VAP teams.
• Plan and execute product launch activities targeting design communities and key customers.
• Provide technical support to the VAP sales team across all geographies and project types.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering.
• Experience in ready‑mix concrete specification or related construction materials.
• Strong understanding of product specification, value‑engineering, and market analysis.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations.
