About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Gewan Hotels & Resorts in El Alamein. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures a smooth and professional front‑desk experience while upholding the brand’s luxury standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Answer phone calls and emails, handling guest inquiries and requests.
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs promptly.
- Manage reservations, update guest records, and process payments.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
- Support daily administrative and clerical tasks.
Required profile
- Strong front‑desk operations skills, including check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservations.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent communication in person, by phone, and via email.
- Excellent customer‑service mindset with the ability to handle feedback and complaints calmly.
- Previous experience in hospitality or front‑office roles, preferably in hotels or resorts.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
- Well‑groomed, professional appearance aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related education is a plus.
Required skills
- Data entry and record‑keeping.
- Basic office software use (e.g., Microsoft Office).
